Vietnam Petroleum Transport Joint Stock Company
JSC Vietnam Petroleum Transport Company, formerly known as Waterway Petroleum Transport I, under the Petroleum Corporation of Vietnam. Date 22/07/1980, Petroleum Transport Company Waterways I was established to carry out the mission and tasks of transport fuel in the domestic and international scheduled Petroleum Corporation of Vietnam.Over the next 25 years of development, the Company Waterway Petroleum Transport I have overcome numerous difficulties and challenges, especially period focusing mechanism eliminating bureaucracy (1987-1994) moved to market mechanisms. Since 2000, the Company has conducted equitized enterprises Honghe into JSC transport and services Hai Phong Petrolimex (PTS Haiphong) with line of business is petroleum transport waterway and building, repairing ships.
Date 01/01/2006, the company officially operated with the charter capital of 351 billion VND, of which corporations Vietnam Petroleum holds 51%. On 21/12/2006, the company officially listed shares on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, with stock code VIP charter capital is 684 709 410 000 Current contract.
