PIRIOU VIETNAM Company / formerly known as Southeast Asia Company Limited (SEAS) was established in Vietnam in 2006 by PIRIOU Group.
PIRIOU is a leading French corporation in shipbuilding and repair of medium-sized ships. Piriou was founded half a century ago in Concarneau, one of the largest fishing ports in France.
PIRIOU VIETNAM builds medium-sized ships, aluminum ships and iron ships up to 120m in length. The factory specializes in building transport vessels for drilling rigs and tuna fishing vessels.
All types of work – boats and fishing boats can be built according to customer requirements, designed by the Group’s design departments in France, Poland and Vietnam.
Since 2007, more than 40 aluminum vessels, including 12 53m FSIV service ships, 30 FRB rescue vessels, and WFSV double hull vessels have set sail from the Ben Luc factory.
In early 2008, the company expanded its scale and established Nha Be factory, which produced 6 tuna fishing boats (90m). 2 new tuna boats (80m) have also been completed and handed over.
PIRIOU VIETNAM currently has over 550 employees. The number of employees per year has increased by more than 100 people in the last 3 years and is still growing more to meet the needs of the order.
In addition, PIRIOU VIETNAM has established internal training courses to improve professional shipbuilding skills for workers.
