In 2015 “d-i davit international-hische GmbH” has been formed as a result of a merger of the medium-sized companies “Hische GmbH” (founded in 1978) and “d-i davit-international GmbH” (founded in 1985) in Sulingen, Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen) in Germany. The main reasons for this was a logical further step of an already long existing cooperation between Hische GmbH as producer of steel structures and large scale industrial components and d-i davit international GmbH as renowned manufacturer of lifesaving equipment. By extending the manufacturing area on the companies ground with new factory buildings the production has gradually been optimized.
This new entity with about 170 employees today comprises an almost forty years´ experience in manufacturing of high class technical systems and components for the shipbuilding industry as well as for the oil and gas industry.
Apart from the delivery of complete components for seagoing vessels e.g. for cruise ships, ferries, commercial vessels, mega yachts, special ships, navy ships and systems for the offshore industry, we have also founded the company “rotring-hische GmbH” in October 2018, which specializes in fuel gas, fuel oil supply and treatment systems.
